About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support customers in Japan by providing product selection and technical advice for the heat exchanger portfolio
- Respond to technical questions from customers via email or phone
- Provide technical advice and participate in technical discussions with customers
- Create technical documentation
- Analyze customer requirements and design suitable products based on application and site conditions
- Coordinate with the factory to ensure solutions are technically feasible
- Prepare and follow up quotations
- Work closely with the factory to ensure smooth order processing
- Communicate customer clarifications or missing information to avoid delays or discrepancies
- Support after-sales activities, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Follow up on progress and coordinate actions with the service team for timely resolution
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good written and spoken English skills are essential
- Degree or Diploma, preferably in an engineering course of study
- Experience in refrigeration or heat exchanger equipment preferred
- Strong communication skills for conducting technical meetings, preparing documentation, and providing email support
- Analytical thinking with a focus on accuracy, technical quality, and structured problem solving
- Customer-oriented approach and confidence in dealing with technical issues
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage and consistently follow up on multiple projects simultaneously
