About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software solutions in C/C++ on Embedded Linux platforms
Develop communication, networking, and data management functionalities using industrial and IP-based protocols
Define scalable, reliable, and maintainable software architectures and system designs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into integrated software solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve software, communication, and system-level issues throughout the product lifecycle
Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit and integration testing, and automated test methodologies
Use data and technical insights to support decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
Travel periodically to international manufacturing facilities and occasionally attend customer or internal meetings when virtual participation is not feasible

Requirements

What you’ll need

Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience developing embedded software in modern C/C++ within Linux environments
Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, multithreading, and embedded systems
Hands-on experience with networking, communication protocols, software testing, Git, and Agile development practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global engineering teams
Preferred: experience with distributed systems, Qt/QML, STM32/ESP32 platforms, RTOS, CI/CD, UML, industrial communication protocols, cloud and IoT technologies, cybersecurity, data analytics, and related certifications
