About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver high-quality client implementations and ongoing service excellence
  • Develop and maintain strategic and operational client relationships
  • Serve as primary point of contact for complex client needs
  • Lead recurring client and quarterly stewardship meetings
  • Advise clients on best practices and recommend system and process improvements
  • Gather and document implementation requirements and obtain client sign-off
  • Configure the benefits administration system for implementations, benefit changes, acquisitions, and enhancements
  • Execute and oversee system testing for accurate configuration and production readiness
  • Ensure non-automated service delivery processes align with contractual scope and client requirements
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system and process-related inquiries
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Development, Call Center, and internal service teams
  • Support system enhancements, operational efficiency, sales, renewals, and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to client presentations, documentation, training materials, and best practices
  • Provide peer guidance and act as a subject matter expert
  • Lead or support special projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of experience in benefits administration and direct client service
  • Experience with a benefits administration platform, HRIS, or benefits/technology-enabled services environment
  • 3+ years of project management experience supporting complex client initiatives
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to manage complex system configurations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and core formulas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • High level of organization, accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to client service, teamwork, and measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
