About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of strategists, helping them learn, grow and take on more responsibilities
- Lead cross-business project teams delivering strategic projects for Consumer from idea through customer research, business-case development and final decision
- Lead the strategic development process from defining priorities with the Board to cascading them to teams
- Oversee and assist in developing clear, insightful materials to develop and communicate the CFU strategy to internal and external audiences
- Provide senior consultancy and specialist advice on strategic issues
- Design robust quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand impacts of proposed changes or ideas
- Build clear, well-presented PowerPoint slide decks with concise key messages
- Build long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders, including MDs, CEO and CFO, while challenging traditional models and ways of thinking
Requirements
What you’ll need- Leadership experience advising key stakeholders through critical business changes
- Experience coaching and developing a team, providing structure and workload planning
- Stakeholder management experience from CEO to operational level
- Experience building senior leadership team briefings and board packs
- Ability to present recommendations clearly, succinctly and concisely on complex and ambiguous problems
- Ownership and ability to follow work through to completion in a matrix organisation
- Ability to apply clear frameworks, break information down and build a narrative
- Ability to articulate complex concepts and/or data using simple, compelling and coherent narratives
- Experience delivering narratives to internal and external audiences at all levels
- Ability to coordinate and establish the development and use of data analytics for decision-making
- Comprehensive technical expertise to deliver data analytics capability
