About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides administrative and technical support to the project team
- Assists with Request for Information (RFI), document control and management, creation and tracking of submittals, cost tracking, and schedule updates
- Summarizes discussions, questions, and decisions from project team, owner, and subcontractor meetings
- Reads and understands specification books to ensure compliance and project quality
- Assists with identifying inspections, creating inspection logs, establishing relationships with inspectors, scheduling inspections, and ensuring inspection readiness
- Updates contract drawings to reflect approved changes and ensures trade contractor document updates
- Assists Superintendents with daily reports and manages progress and quality photos
- Models safety awareness and planning, observes safety practices, and reports concerns
- Supports logistics for safety initiatives in the site-specific safety plan
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, full-time Sophomore-Senior level student
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including drug and background screening
- Preferred: Previous work or internship experience in the commercial construction industry
- Preferred: Participation and/or leadership roles in student organizations or extracurricular club activities
