About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the planning, execution, delivery, completion, program management, and financial outcome of complex, multi-phase retail construction projects
  • Direct project development from beginning to end, managing consultants, general contractors, vendors, specialty contractors, budgets, internal departments, and developers
  • Manage entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, store start-up, store turnover, and project closeout
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Monitor milestones, schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, change orders, and contract administration
  • Provide regular project status reports to leadership and stakeholders
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, plans, and timelines in proprietary or client software
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners across multiple sites and states
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, codes, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Identify improvement opportunities and foster continuous improvement and accountability
  • Deliver timely customer service and proactive solutions to clients
  • Travel to client and project sites across the U.S.; onsite visits may last up to one continuous week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field; minimum of three years of related experience
  • In lieu of degree, five years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record)
  • Current PMP preferred
