About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape and execute Bureau Veritas's strategic financial vision for Finland
  • Oversee financial performance and ensure accurate accounting and payroll processes
  • Provide financial insights supporting company growth and profitability
  • Oversee annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
  • Drive the effectiveness and performance of the Finance Function, coordinating actions with local managers
  • Implement clear financial guidelines, management reports, and financial performance KPIs
  • Ensure local financial procedures align with corporate financial policies and standards
  • Analyze and report financial data for decision-making
  • Maintain accurate financial data and records in compliance with principles, processes, and statutory regulations
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and the financial function

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate level in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5 to 7 years of working experience, with at least 2 years in a comparable position
  • Solid people management experience, including working with remote teams
  • International business experience and ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, payroll regulations, and regulatory compliance
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced PC skills
  • Strong result orientation and analytical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex financial and operational issues
  • Ethical decision-making and commitment to professional ethics
  • Good communication skills and willingness to share information
  • Very proactive working approach
