About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the overall direction, completion, oversight, and budget of assigned projects
  • Independently manage smaller programs within budget and on time
  • Support Program Managers with daily activities on large programs
  • Manage teams of project staff, field staff, and vendors
  • Provide technical guidance, answer project questions, perform technical reviews, and provide training
  • Manage multiple sites, states, tasks, and projects concurrently
  • Represent Bureau Veritas at pre-bid meetings, shortlist interviews, and project kickoff calls
  • Review and quality-check ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and Zoning Reports nationwide
  • Manage zoning/survey team workflow and allocate additional resources as needed
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, gross margin, budgets, forecasts, and contractual requirements
  • Present project metrics, problems, and solutions to leadership teams and clients
  • Conduct performance reviews, coach and mentor team members, and address performance issues
  • Educate clients on products and services
  • Identify workflow improvements and key performance indicators
  • Participate in developing new services and technologies
  • Maintain communication with leadership regarding deliverables and risks
  • Deliver timely customer service and proactive client solutions
  • Follow Bureau Veritas policies, procedures, work instructions, and safety standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field, or eight years of related experience and/or training in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of five years of related experience, or eight years of related experience and/or training in lieu of degree
  • Proposal preparation, budget development, forecasting, and financial management experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with web-based project management
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) required
  • Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record)
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and project management software
  • Ability to operate an electronic tablet in the field for live data collection
  • Extensive knowledge of ALTA Surveys and Commercial Real Estate Due Diligence
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including walking, standing, climbing, lifting, and field work
  • Must have a cell phone and supply own internet service
  • Ability to travel to client/project sites across the U.S.
  • Ability to work successfully from a remote location
