About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work in the Geotechnical Monitoring Center, monitoring and critically analyzing data from geotechnical instruments using data management software
  • Monitor the issuance of alerts related to reached control levels
  • Issue geotechnical instrumentation reports and monitor the integrity and operability of the instrumentation
  • Monitor dam safety systems and trigger alarms and the communication flow in accordance with the Emergency Action Plan
  • Comply with the guidelines of the Emergency Action Plan
  • Open maintenance work orders to correct or prevent equipment failures, monitoring and verifying execution and the quality of deliverables
  • Perform related administrative activities inherent to the position
  • Monitor and conduct inspections of structures
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and dashboards as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or related fields
  • Monitoring experience preferred
  • Availability to work shifts
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid, unrestricted Category B driver’s license
