About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own product strategy and roadmap across all categories using sales, sell-through, review, and return data
  • Run end-to-end product development, including trend and feature research, design, prototyping, testing, and launch
  • Remove development blockers and find alternative solutions when suppliers, samples, or decisions are delayed
  • Source and manage manufacturers and material suppliers
  • Write technical specifications and RFQs and challenge suppliers on materials, pricing, and certifications
  • Identify successful market trends early and bring them to BURGA ahead of competitors
  • Set quality, testing, and validation standards with the factory and QC
  • Deliver launch handovers to Supply Chain, E-commerce, B2B, Marketing, and Customer Support
  • Lead and grow the team through feedback, 1:1s, and trust
  • Develop leaders and build high-performing teams
  • Own and report product KPIs, including launches versus plan, on-time launch rate, revenue per SKU, gross margin, time-to-market, defect rates, and return rates
  • Report directly to the Founders
  • Work closely with the Engineering / Testing team to develop high-quality, functional products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in product development, focused on fashion accessories, lifestyle products, or consumer tech accessories
  • 3+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience as Head of Product, VP of Product, Chief Product Officer, or Senior Product Manager in physical goods
  • Analytical, evidence-based decision-making
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Experience working with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Strong eye for design and trends, balanced with commercial judgment
  • Experience in a fast-growing or scaling company building processes and teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Fluent English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Track record of successfully bringing innovative products to market and scaling product portfolios across multiple categories
  • Experience in e-commerce or DTC brands is a significant plus
  • Willingness to use AI and new tools in daily work
