About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure and maintain Business Central functionality across Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance
  • Support manufacturing processes including production orders, BOMs, routings, consumption, output, and production planning
  • Support inventory processes including transfers, adjustments, availability, reservations, and inventory accuracy
  • Configure and improve warehouse processes including locations, bins, receipts, put-aways, picks, movements, and shipments
  • Ensure operational transactions are accurately reflected across purchasing, sales, inventory, costing, and financial reporting
  • Maintain data flows between Business Central and connected warehouse, production, e-commerce, finance, and other systems
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Production, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop Business Central solutions
  • Define functional requirements and specifications for enhancements and custom development
  • Support testing and UAT for functionality, integrations, process changes, and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot functional and operational issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with developers on technical changes and integrations
  • Create process documentation and provide guidance and training to Business Central users

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV/Navision as a Functional Consultant, ERP Specialist, Key User, or similar
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Manufacturing, Inventory, or Warehouse Management in Business Central
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, and supply chain processes
  • General understanding of Business Central Finance and the impact of operational transactions on costing and accounting
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into practical system solutions
  • Experience troubleshooting Business Central issues and working with business users and technical teams
  • Fluent English
  • Nice to have: Business Central APIs, web services, and system integrations experience
  • Nice to have: data migration, system upgrades, or NAV-to-Business Central migration experience
  • Nice to have: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (MB-800)
