About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet established schedules and quality standards
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols and company policies
  • Lead, train, and evaluate production team members, providing guidance and support
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize production delays and maintain continuous workflow
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and management teams on equipment, process, and quality challenges
  • Maintain accurate production records, prepare shift reports, and communicate key information to management
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
  • Serve as a liaison between management and production teams to facilitate communication and problem-solving
  • Ensure production targets are met on time, within budget, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or higher in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards
  • Ability to read and interpret production schedules, technical documents, and safety guidelines
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and production management software
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing management, or related discipline preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Certification in safety management or supervisory training programs preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced production tracking tools preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively preferred
  • Availability for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday
