About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join a compassionate and collaborative team providing mental health support to clients.
Perform client check-ins using virtual, in-person, and telephonic platforms.
Obtain ordered labs and ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
Complete screeners with clients to determine the most appropriate course of care in collaboration with the provider.
Handle delegated tasks for nurse teams.
Act as a resource for nursing and medical issues within the clinic.
Oversee infectious disease control measures, client hygiene, and facility health.
Perform nursing assessments according to service line requirements.
Administer medications through various methods, including oral and injections, according to service line protocols.
Prepare medications, conduct routine medication destruction, and address client questions and medication needs.
Verify client data, obtain necessary physical preliminary requirements, and assist with collecting samples and vital signs.
Float across clinics in Sedalia, Marshall, Carrollton, Boonville, California, and Versailles, Missouri.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Nursing degree from an accredited school.
Current RN or LPN nursing license from the State of Missouri.
Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ First Aid and Medication Aid trainer.
Prior experience in adult and youth psychiatric nursing is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
Ability to perform nursing assessments and administer medications.
Ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care as needed.
