About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond timely and accurately to internal requests/inquiries via service cases
- Interact with Investors regarding servicing, reporting, and research
- Track internal errors and resolve them where needed
- Maintain core system files
- Research and resolve internal and external client requests
- Monitor daily reports
- Balance internal General Ledgers
- Review and resolve Non-Post Reports
- Assist other areas and special projects as needed
- Maintain Special Asset loans
- Collaborate with frontline partners on issue resolution
- Perform advanced loan transactions and system maintenance
- Handle monetary transactions in accordance with Bank and regulatory requirements
- Perform credit bureau reporting and portfolio monitoring for the Mortgage loan portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma required; higher education preferred
- 5-7 years Mortgage operations and/or investor servicing experience required
- Knowledge of Mortgage Loan Servicing and/or related Loan Operations
- High level knowledge of investor servicing parameters and reporting regulations
- Knowledge of bank compliance and regulatory requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to incorporate changes in processes and procedures with focus on improving customer service and process efficiency
- Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressures
- Effective problem resolution and recommendation-making skills
- Ability to work independently with frequent interruptions
- Ability to adapt to changes in process requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
