About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and lead the information security strategy and programme for BVNK's Singapore business
Build the Singapore security function from the ground up, establishing governance, policies, standards, controls and processes
Act as the senior point of accountability for information and cyber security in Singapore
Ensure Singapore operations meet applicable MAS technology risk, cyber security and operational resilience requirements
Establish and maintain an information security risk management framework
Implement global security standards while addressing Singapore-specific requirements
Oversee security monitoring, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, third-party security risk, data security and operational resilience
Lead security incident preparedness and response, including escalation, crisis management and regulatory engagement
Partner with Product, Engineering and Technology teams to embed security into products, systems and infrastructure
Lead information security aspects of regulatory applications, examinations, audits and assessments
Establish security governance, metrics and reporting
Oversee security risks associated with third parties and critical technology service providers
Build security awareness and accountability across the Singapore organisation
Define the future structure, capabilities and resourcing requirements of the Singapore security function
Represent BVNK's Singapore security function with regulators, auditors, partners and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior accountability for information security across a Singapore business
Experience establishing governance, frameworks, controls and capabilities for a regulated financial services business
Knowledge of MAS technology risk, cyber security and operational resilience requirements
Experience with information security risk management frameworks
Experience overseeing security monitoring, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, third-party security risk, data security and operational resilience
Experience with regulatory applications, examinations, audits and assessments
Ability to partner with Product, Engineering and Technology teams to embed security into products, systems and infrastructure
Experience with security governance, metrics and reporting
Experience overseeing third-party and critical technology service-provider security risks
Experience representing security functions with regulators, auditors, partners and external stakeholders
Ability to build and lead a security function from the ground up
Willingness to work with local leadership, global Security teams, regulators and external stakeholders
