About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the EU market, driving expansion, user acquisition, and revenue growth
Lead and manage local operations, including marketing campaigns, industry events, and strategic partnerships
Increase brand awareness and user engagement through targeted marketing, social media, and community events
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, local financial institutions, and ecosystem partners
Navigate and ensure compliance with EU regulatory frameworks, including MiCA/MiCAR, MiFID, and EMI
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional regulatory developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and other global teams
Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the regional team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
10+ years of proven leadership experience in marketing, business development, or general management within tech/fintech
Prior experience as a Country Manager or senior leader within the cryptocurrency industry is highly desirable
In-depth understanding of the EU crypto market, consumer behavior, and financial regulatory landscapes, including MiCA, MiFID, and EMI
Established professional network within the DACH/EU crypto and fintech ecosystems
Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Results-oriented mindset focused on measurable business outcomes
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to dynamic market changes
Fluency in English and at least one additional European language, such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian
Strong knowledge of EU crypto regulatory frameworks is an advantage
Hands-on marketing expertise and a strong track record of partnering with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
Prior crypto management experience
