About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the onshore and offshore security team, including delegating work assignments, conducting performance reviews, and supporting staff development
  • Manage installations of security-related applications, processes, procedures, and equipment
  • Manage an Information Security program using appropriate physical, technical, and administrative safeguards based on NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, or a similar standard
  • Manage security of C&S endpoints, including compliance with security controls and deployment of routine upgrades and patches
  • Plan and develop security initiatives to increase security awareness and reduce risk
  • Partner with operational business functions on security policies, initiatives, and audit programs
  • Liaise with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for risk assurance, business controls, security, and compliance
  • Manage relationships with security software vendors and managed services providers
  • Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and maintain contract documentation in the IT asset database
  • Develop and maintain GRC and other security systems
  • Support internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with company security policies and directives
  • Recommend improvements to security best practices
  • Collaborate with process teams, business analysts, and business process owners in Internal Audit and Accounting/Finance
  • Implement security application portfolio projects, including planning, resource management, and deliverables
  • Ensure third parties, SaaS providers, and IaaS providers implement comparable controls when handling or hosting C&S systems and data
  • Manage Oracle EBS Security, Oracle EBS Security and GRC systems, Oracle OCI security, Google Cloud Platform security, and network and system security

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Information security management
  • 5–7 years of Project Management
  • Experience managing a team of onshore and offshore resources
  • Industry-recognized certification preferred
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • Strong leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Security Operations controls
  • In-depth knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work first shift in the United States of America
