About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support supply chain operations across the New England/I-91 corridor and Pennsylvania
  • Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency
  • Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights
  • Enhance department tools, templates, and methodologies
  • Gain exposure to department functionalities
  • Develop positive professional relationships across departments
  • Complete special projects assigned by the manager
  • Complete an end-of-internship presentation showcasing learning objectives
  • Support warehouse safety engagement programs, including safety committee meetings, safety blitzes, EHS walks, fatal risk audits, and incident investigations
  • Support warehouse safety regulatory compliance initiatives and IIPP (injury illness prevention program)
  • Utilize the Benchmark Gensuite platform for tasks and projects
  • Partner with Warehouse Operations, Field Training, Human Resources, and other teams on shared initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university
  • Will have completed their Sophomore year by the start of the internship
  • In good academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Currently majoring in Occupational Health And Safety or related fields
  • Proficient with Google’s suite of products preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn and contribute
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or potentially at any point in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
  • High School Diploma - General Studies
