About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform hypercare support and resolve complex live system issues following SAP EWM implementations
  • Own moderately complex and high-priority support tickets from diagnosis through deployment
  • Perform root cause analysis across EWM configuration, master data, S/4HANA or ECC interfaces, and custom objects
  • Coordinate permanent fixes with development teams
  • Configure EWM solutions and design fixes and minor enhancements
  • Prepare functional specifications for development teams
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements
  • Track system performance and identify bottlenecks
  • Lead testing of fixes, patches, and enhancements, including regression testing
  • Validate results with business users
  • Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers
  • Informally mentor EWM Support Consultants I and II and review their resolutions and documentation
  • Document support processes, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and best practices
  • Apply software updates and security patches
  • Travel 25–50% to client sites for onsite go-live and hypercare support
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and protect sensitive information according to security policies
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience, including SAP EWM configuration and troubleshooting, OR 5-7 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree
  • Background or education in logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or a related field
  • SAP EWM certification required; if not currently certified, must obtain certification within 6 months of hire
  • Strong understanding of SAP EWM and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience owning deliverables and solving moderately complex problems
  • Ability to handle multiple support tickets simultaneously and prioritize urgent issues
  • Clear and professional communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
  • Nice to have: Experience on at least one full-lifecycle SAP EWM implementation
  • Nice to have: Experience with RF framework, Post Processing Framework (PPF), or Material Flow System (MFS)
  • Nice to have: Ability to read and debug ABAP code
  • Nice to have: Experience working with the Department of Defense or another federal agency
