  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality projects within specified time and cost constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Maintain visibility to project work using documented tools, processes, Standard Operating Procedures, Playbooks, and Runbooks.
  • Build productive relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors, and key clients.
  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, and resources for smooth execution.
  • Manage the customer relationship as the primary face of the project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Build and motivate project teams, provide guidance and support, and address performance issues.
  • Provide work direction and leadership, including scheduling, assigning work, and reviewing project efforts.
  • Ensure successful go-live on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain communication so scope is clear and procedures are adhered to and auditable.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, human resources, training, and safety goals under the Statement of Work and C5MI policies.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and presentations.
  • Guide customers on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy, and Testing Strategy.
  • Gather information needed to estimate project cost, resources, time, and deliverables.
  • Set and maintain quality standards for project deliverables.
  • Estimate physical, financial, and human capital costs.
  • Negotiate conflicts and resolve project issues as a mediator between stakeholders and team members.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for the client.
  • Track progress, identify risks or delays, and proactively find solutions.
  • Keep senior leaders and stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and deviations.
  • Ensure smooth project closure, including client acceptance, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and protect sensitive information under security policies.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • One to three (1-3) years of project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
  • One to three (1-3) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field with one to three (1-3) years of relevant experience.
  • Must be willing to travel at least 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
  • Warehousing, logistics and/or supply chain PM experience (nice to have).
  • Prior government/federal PM experience (nice to have).
