About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Discuss renewal strategy with the Account Executive internally in preparation for renewals
Prepare renewal outputs, including reviewing certificate holder lists and providing them to clients
Confirm manuscript certificates needed
Manage Auto ID Cards distribution and Workers’ Compensation posting needs
Send quotes to clients and obtain bind orders as needed
Determine whether premium financing is needed and obtain quotes
Create policy files in the shared drive once binders arrive
Send binders to clients with subjectivities, input information into EPIC, and send to CAC Binders for data collection
Complete and send invoices to clients
Issue and distribute renewal outputs
Follow up with carriers and brokers regarding policies and policy checking
Send checked policies to clients and place copies in EPIC
Follow up with carriers regarding endorsements
Maintain EPIC records, including policies, endorsements, invoices, Auto ID Cards, certificates, and audits
Monitor policy expiration dates, including fees
Suspend for audits and review against binders/agreements
Handle ad hoc requests for certificates, Auto ID Cards, and endorsements
Set up new clients in EPIC
Work with brokers to obtain policy copies from carriers
Request and review prior broker schedules of insurance and recreate them from CAC
Request and review certificate copies and Excel schedules; update and import them into the CAC system
Request and review Auto ID Cards
Develop and maintain account handling instructions
Plan the following year’s renewals
Follow up with clients for payment
Resolve accounting issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of P&C insurance experience required
State specific license required, or obtained within 60 days of hire
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Salesforce, eCerts, and EPIC experience preferred
