About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain web-based mapping applications using ArcGIS JavaScript API, Web AppBuilder, and Experience Builder
Create and manage geospatial data, feature services, and map services in ArcGIS Enterprise environments
Support integration of JTMS data with ArcGIS platforms for visualization and analysis
Perform quality assurance and testing of GIS applications and data
Assist in developing custom geoprocessing tools and workflows
Provide technical documentation for applications and processes
Collaborate with senior developers, system administrators, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS applications and services
Stay current with ArcGIS platform updates and emerging geospatial technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
1-2 years of experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, or ArcGIS Online
Basic understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture and components
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Knowledge of geospatial data formats and coordinate systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
Up to 10% travel required
Desired: Experience with ArcGIS JavaScript API or Python for ArcGIS
Desired: Knowledge of REST APIs and web services
Desired: Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
Desired: Working knowledge and experience with SAP S4 HANA
Desired: Agile SAFe experience
