About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and support infrastructure for software-based signal processing applications
Participate in the full IT Systems Development Life Cycle, focusing on development, integration, and maintenance of Mission Systems
Lead or support design and implementation of capabilities for mission monitoring, maintenance, and support
Contribute to Change/Baseline Management processes and tools
Develop Health and Status monitoring and reporting
Install and patch Enterprise Linux baselines
Configure and manage diverse hardware
Troubleshoot operational issues
Create and maintain required documentation
Interface with and support internal engineering and development teams
Design, develop, debug, and test signal processing algorithms across platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and government missions
Design, develop, integrate, and test software and DSP applications
Help define requirements, CONOPs, and architecture for future systems
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
Develop analytic signal processing tools
Travel as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)
5 years of related experience in relevant engineering disciplines
Must be able to obtain TS/SCI with Poly clearance
Background in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theory
Experience programming in Python, Java, C++, or another object-oriented or functional language
Linux software development experience
Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Understanding of software-defined radio systems, including receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, and spectral analysis
Experience with X-Midas in RF transmission and receiver systems or software-defined radio
Experience with telemetry systems
Knowledge and experience processing signals, including error correcting codes and digital video formats
Experience with CUDA
Proficiency communicating technical and analytical information in written products
Exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle
General knowledge of containerization
Active Security+ certification
