About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide lead financial support and coordination for a complex contract/program
  • Support Program Management staff with complex financial analysis and reporting requirements
  • Support assigned portfolio of projects as an individual contributor
  • Partner with program managers on planning, forecasting, and decision-making
  • Ensure overall delivery of financial commitments
  • Serve as the lead for cost variance analysis and reporting
  • Manage monthly corporate forecasts, Estimate at Completion (EAC), cost baselines, risks, and opportunities
  • Track annual fiscal plans and provide monthly updates
  • Maintain contract budgets
  • Manage and review program cost, funding, labor charging, forecasting, and internal reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5+ years of related (technical project support or management) experience
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to effectively utilize corporate systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, Hyperion (CAPS), SmartView, etc.
  • Responsibility for program financials, including management and review of cost, funding, labor charging, forecasting, and internal reporting
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Familiarity with the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance
