About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor software consumption and license utilization rates across Army organizations
  • Maintain centralized requirements tracking ledgers and historical requirements logs
  • Liaise with Army commands and support agencies to collect, compile, deconflict, and correlate software license requirements
  • Evaluate software demands against existing Enterprise License Agreements and contracts
  • Draft formal requirements memorandums supporting Government contract management decisions
  • Synthesize software consumption metrics into briefings, cost-avoidance courses of action, and executive decision papers
  • Assist with enterprise data calls and tasking workflow actions
  • Verify recommendations and deliverables comply with Federal, DoD, and Army rules and regulations, including FAR/DFARS
  • Develop professional written and oral work products for coordination and senior leader decision-making
  • Support the Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6, and the Network C4 Services Integration Directorate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Acquisition, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent operational military/civilian experience
  • Demonstrated Army-specific experience working within or directly supporting U.S. Army commands, staff, or operational environments
  • Experience developing and coordinating staffing packets, formal memorandums, executive summaries, or decision briefings intended for senior leaders
  • 3+ years of professional experience in IT asset management, software licensing analysis, IT requirements validation, or federal IT program analysis
  • Ability to analyze, research, and correlate complex spreadsheet data to identify utilization patterns and cost-saving opportunities
  • Familiarity with commercial software licensing constructs, including subscription, capacity-based, perpetual, and enterprise agreements
  • Up to 10% local travel
  • Desired: experience supporting Army Staff (HQDA), Service Headquarters, Joint Staff, or Defense Agency operations
  • Desired: exposure to Army tasking tracking tools such as ETMS2, TMT, and CATMS, and IT procurement vehicles such as Army CHESS
  • Desired: CSAM, CSM, ITIL Foundation, or DAWIA coursework in Contracting or Program Management
  • Desired: familiarity with Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, VMware, and Adobe enterprise software
