About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for one or more CACI manufacturing sites
  • Provide financial analysis, business support, and cost account oversight for manufacturing-related financial and inventory systems
  • Support manufacturing finance through financial analysis, cost analysis, risk analysis, system reconciliations, and month-end close activities
  • Analyze transactions across Infor LN and Costpoint and resolve discrepancies
  • Support COGS accounting and partner with Operations and Finance to improve processes and reporting
  • Conduct historical variance, risk, and profit/loss analysis and provide forward-looking projections
  • Support production management, inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance activities
  • Analyze inventory obsolescence, cost drivers, and at-risk inventory to forecast financial impacts
  • Prepare and present site dashboards, business metrics, cost trends, margin analyses, budget forecasts, and internal financial reports
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and present findings to Finance, Operations, and executive leadership
  • Improve recurring reporting, reconciliations, and financial-analysis processes
  • Develop and refine financial controls and procedures
  • Perform month-end close, including transaction reconciliation, shipment-cost review, journal entries, issue resolution, and audit documentation
  • Travel periodically within the U.S. to CACI locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant finance, accounting, or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to conduct financial, variance, risk, profit/loss, inventory, cost, and manufacturing finance analysis
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and implementing corrective actions
  • Ability to analyze transactions across Infor LN and Costpoint
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, COGS accounting, and month-end close activities
  • Ability to prepare financial reports, dashboards, business metrics, cost trends, margin analyses, budget forecasts, and executive presentations
  • Ability to develop and refine financial controls and procedures for government and customer compliance
  • Sound judgment and ability to communicate difficult findings constructively and hold stakeholders accountable
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, systems, processes, and business needs
  • Ability to travel periodically within the U.S. to CACI locations, with up to 25% travel
