About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with the design and implementation of the MECM/Intune solution for the Department of the Air Force
Ensure the solution design is scalable to meet Department of the Air Force needs and growth
Establish procedures based on industry best practices for routine and zero-day patch management
Deploy applications and application updates based on defined criteria
Remediate failed patches, failed applications, and patching conflicts
Create documentation and SOPs for new procedures and manual task steps to support hand-offs and cross-training
Operate and maintain the enterprise MECM infrastructure
Track relevant SLA/SLRs and provide required reports
Collaborate with Department of the Air Force enterprise and program security teams to meet requirements within allotted timeframes
Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and peers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active DoD Secret clearance
Security+ Certification or must meet 8570 compliance/IAT II compliance
10+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience
Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting Microsoft and third-party software updates
Experience building/deploying application packages in SCCM 2012/MECM Current Branch
Experience managing a large MECM infrastructure
Experience managing Windows Servers and Workstations; mobile devices a plus
Experience with Adaptiva OneSite/Client Health
Experience working in a DoD environment
Familiarity with STIG requirements
Familiarity with ITILv4
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with ServiceNow (desired)
Experience with Tanium (desired)
Ability to act independently to expose and resolve problems
