About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions supporting SAP S/4HANA and related systems
Develop and support RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows
Analyze business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to create scalable, efficient technical solutions
Develop technical designs, specifications, and supporting documentation for SAP enhancements and integrations
Perform unit, integration, system, and release testing
Support user acceptance testing, production deployments, release management, and ongoing application maintenance
Design, build, and enhance SAP Fiori applications and user experiences using SAP UI5
Develop transactional, analytical, and fact sheet Fiori applications and enhance standard SAP applications using approved enhancement frameworks
Design and implement OData services using SAP Gateway technologies
Deploy and support applications within existing SAP Launchpad environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and performance issues
Support SAP S/4HANA modernization initiatives while adhering to Clean Core architecture principles and development best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting transportation, logistics, financial, and operational business processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum required)
Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and supporting applications within SAP ECC 6.0, SAP S/4HANA, or similar enterprise SAP environments
Strong experience with ABAP Objects, ABAP Reports, Dialog/Online Transactions, and Web Dynpro
Experience with SAP integration technologies, including BAPI, ALE, IDocs, PI/PO, SOAP, XML Web Services, REST APIs, and Proxies
Experience with BOPF, OData Services, and ABAP RESTful Programming Model
Experience with SAP UI5 and Fiori, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Eclipse, and VS Code
Strong SAP S/4HANA development experience, including CDS Views, AMDP, Code Pushdown Techniques, Native SQL, ADT, HANA Data Modeling, Database Procedures, and HANA Performance Optimization
Experience following SAP coding standards, performance guidelines, and development best practices
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
