About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coach and lead an agile team within the SAFe framework
- Facilitate team breakouts, PI Planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, and backlog refinement
- Track and remove impediments and ensure cross-team coordination
- Maintain team metrics and identify improvement areas
- Perform capacity planning for iterations and increments
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and consistency across teams
- Liaise with architects, cybersecurity SMEs, and stakeholders
- Manage product releases and dependencies between teams and third parties
- Support product roadmap development
- Coach continuous improvement and high-performing team practices
- Develop and refine processes to enhance quality and productivity
- Contribute to Agile communities of practice
- Ensure appropriate staffing for Epics and Features
- Schedule and allocate work, provide guidance, and resolve problems
- Ensure product quality and timely delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and seven years of related experience
- Certified Scrum Master or Certified SAFe Scrum Master with significant experience coaching Scrum teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading teams using an Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile approach
- Understanding of software development planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass an IT-1 background investigation
- SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, or another Scaled Agile Certification (desired)
- Experience with continuous deployment models (desired)
- Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to innovative principles and ideas (desired)
