About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop end-to-end features with responsive React user interfaces and secure ASP.NET back-end services
Design and develop database layers using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server
Build and deploy applications with automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Optimize performance across React components, back-end services, and SQL queries
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Conduct code reviews for quality, security, and maintainability
Write automated tests using xUnit/NUnit, Vitest, or React Testing Library
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug issues and address technical debt and production bottlenecks
Mentor junior team members and lead feature initiatives independently
Support U.S. Navy Reserve business systems across web and mobile-responsive development, SharePoint, AI/ML, data warehousing, system administration, networking, and AWS cloud services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Software Engineering; in lieu of the degree requirement, CSSLP, GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification
7+ years of experience developing with ASP.NET, React, Node.js, and relational databases
Active SECRET security clearance
Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, JSX/Angular Templates, and T SQL
Hands-on experience with .NET (C#), ASP.NET, JavaScript, Node, React, and MS SQL Server
Strong understanding of software design patterns
Experience using project management and issue-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jira
Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git
Ability to manage competing priorities and successfully drive multiple projects
Strong communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to complex environments
Experience with AWS, Azure, or SaaS development is a plus
Experience with AI-assisted development and AI/ML concepts is desired
Experience developing software within Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban is desired
Experience building and maintaining business systems for the Department of War or Navy Reserve is desired
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing production environments is desired
CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications are desired
