About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day execution and collaborate across the RAM leadership team to execute objectives
- Lead a large team developing customers’ mission-critical systems
- Participate in roadmap discussions and incorporate industry experience into solutions and proposed improvements
- Lead program status meetings covering finance, staffing, invoicing, and other program objectives
- Partner with a Business Development Lead to identify opportunities and mitigate risk for sustainable program growth
- Coordinate with the Agile team to manage and improve processes
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer, Chief Architect, and Release Engineer to ensure cohesive planning, execution, and delivery across Agile software development
- Manage costs and revenue to meet RAM program budget targets
- Manage projects from initiation through closeout
- Interact directly with customers and lead execution of program goals and objectives
- Contribute to technology roadmaps aligned with customer requirements and industry advancements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Project management expertise for planning, executing, and completing large scale projects across multiple teams
- People management skills to lead a diverse team of technical and non-technical experts
- History of increasing roles and responsibilities demonstrating leadership and technical acumen
- Financial management skills and understanding of business drivers and revenue generators
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including communication with executive-level positions
- US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance
- Experience in an Agile software development environment with participation in scrums, program increment planning, and backlog refinement
- University Degree (BA/BS) with at least 10 years of related work experience
- Experience managing and directing sub-contractors and/or vendors
- PMP Certification
