Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and test innovative applications and technologies for a mission-critical force protection system
Design and develop automated testing for software architectures in a cloud-based RF environment
Adhere to technical standards and engineer for quality
Ensure seamless integration of software and components with complex RF solutions
Collaborate with RF hardware engineers, system designers, developers, stakeholders, and program executive leadership
Design and develop applications and interfaces
Create and execute test plans
Identify, document, track, and verify defects
Perform manual and automated acceptance, functional, regression, and API testing
Analyze test outcomes, report findings, and provide actionable feedback
Develop continuous improvement plans for testing processes
Contribute to test automation framework and application enhancements
Prioritize development and testing activities against project timelines and deliverables
Maintain documentation of test artifacts, results, and quality metrics
Communicate risks and opportunities to program executive leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US citizen
Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
5+ years of software engineering experience
Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or a related computer engineering or computer science field
Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Bruno and Postman
Exposure to API testing and related tools
Comfortable working in a Linux environment
Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Linux
Experience with acceptance testing, functional testing, and API testing
Strong documentation skills, including manual test cases, test procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices (RVTM), and test plans
Proficient in GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD workflow processes
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
Up to 10% local travel
