About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement innovative applications and technologies for a mission simulation system
Design and develop advanced software architectures in a cloud-based RF simulation environment
Evaluate design tradeoffs and define technical standards
Integrate software and components with complex RF solutions
Collaborate with RF hardware engineers, system designers, and stakeholders
Deliver high-performance, reliable RF system simulation systems
Communicate risks and opportunities to program executive leadership
Design and create software meeting performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
Deploy and maintain systems using Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, ArgoCD, and Git best practices
Evaluate and integrate technologies to optimize software components and virtual interfaces
Define and enforce technical standards for cloud software and infrastructure
Integrate simulation tools to support RF simulation creation
Document software architectures, design decisions, and technical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US citizen
Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
7 years of proven experience in software engineering
Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or a related computer engineering or computer science field
Knowledge of RF technologies, including antenna systems, signal processing, modulation techniques, and wireless communications protocols
Hands-on experience supporting systems of similar scope and complexity
3 or more years of experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, ActiveMQ, MongoDB, and Elastic Stack or similar
Experience with automated deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, or similar platforms
Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes
Familiarity with RF software tools such as MATLAB and Simulink
Experience implementing cloud infrastructure with auto-scaling
Linux/Red Hat knowledge
Python programming experience
Up to 10% local travel
