About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance applications for counter unmanned systems detection and mitigation
Create product and solution vision and strategy with emphasis on infrastructure, capabilities, and sustainability
Manage the full software development lifecycle from conceptualization through deployment
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and backend services
Provide technical leadership on software architecture and improvements
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and responsive user interfaces
Build relationships across CACI ASG engineering teams, program management, and customers
Execute software lifecycles and communicate technical designs and roadmaps
Lead business readiness activities
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into production-ready code
Deploy and maintain mission-essential systems using DevOps tools, containerization technologies, and Git best practices
Debug full-stack issues and participate in code reviews
Implement solutions to improve application reliability and performance
Conduct usability research and market analysis
Translate customer needs into technical requirements and basis of estimates (BOEs)

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 year degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of software development experience
Experience developing applications for commercial cloud technologies (e.g. AWS C2E, GovCloud)
Familiarity and experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Groovy, Grails, and Angular
General knowledge of Python and Java
Knowledge of Software as a Service, microservices, containerization, cross-browser compatibility, web user interface design, security principles, object-oriented design, and web services
Strong understanding of DevOps tools including Nexus, Artifactory, Jenkins, Harbor, and Docker
Experience ingesting requirements and generating basis of estimates (BOEs)
Experience leading and/or integrating Agile methodologies
Experience supporting mission-essential systems with high uptime requirements
Top Secret clearance required to begin employment
Required to obtain a TS/SCI clearance for continued employment
