About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and test innovative applications and technologies for a mission-critical force protection system
- Design and develop automated testing for software architectures in a cloud-based RF environment
- Adhere to technical standards and engineer for quality
- Integrate software and components with complex RF solutions
- Collaborate with RF hardware engineers, system designers, developers, and other stakeholders
- Communicate risks and opportunities to program executive leadership
- Design and develop applications and interfaces
- Create and execute manual and automated test plans
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects
- Develop continuous improvement plans for testing processes
- Execute acceptance, functional, regression, and API testing
- Analyze test outcomes, report findings, and provide actionable feedback
- Prioritize development and testing activities against project timelines and deliverables
- Maintain documentation of test artifacts, results, and quality metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US citizen
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or a related computer engineering or computer science field
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Bruno and Postman
- Exposure to API testing and related tools
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Linux
- Experience with acceptance testing, functional testing, and API testing
- Strong documentation skills, including manual test cases, test procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices (RVTM), and test plans
- Proficient in GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD workflow processes
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar
- Experience with Python, Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, and ArgoCD
