About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop full-stack web applications
- Provide technical leadership on software architecture and improvements
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and responsive user interfaces using Java/Spring Boot and Angular or React
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leads to translate requirements into working software
- Take ownership of features and components across implementation, testing, and deployment
- Build relationships across CACI ASG engineering teams, program management, and customers
- Execute software lifecycles and communicate technical designs and roadmaps
- Deploy and maintain mission-essential systems using Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, and Git best practices
- Ensure high system uptime and performance
- Debug full-stack issues and participate in code reviews
- Implement solutions to improve application reliability and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Top Secret clearance required to begin employment
- Required to obtain a TS/SCI clearance for continued employment
- Experience developing applications for commercial cloud technologies, such as AWS and GovCloud
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend service and REST API development
- Experience with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework, Angular or React
- Familiarity with Groovy/Grails is a plus
- Familiarity with relational and search-based data stores, such as PostgreSQL and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with microservices, containerization, security principles, object-oriented design, and web services
- Experience leading and/or integrating Agile methodologies
- Up to 10% travel required
- Must work at the Sterling, Virginia or Cary, North Carolina location
