About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a hands-on contributor in solution architecture, requirements quality reviews, and technical troubleshooting
Define and maintain the architectural vision and technical standards for the ServiceNow platform
Perform hands-on development including scripting, integration design, prototyping, and solution implementation
Provide engineering support for adjacent applications in alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve solution quality, enforce best practices, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance delivery efficiency
Leverage full-stack development experience across front-end, back-end, and API integration
Support Agile delivery teams through story refinement, technical design reviews, and sprint execution
Guide teams on ServiceNow capabilities across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and custom application development
Architect, design, and develop solutions using Now Experience and UI Builder
Oversee technical readiness for upgrades and evaluate new ServiceNow features for adoption
Maintain documentation for architecture decisions, system interactions, and platform configuration standards
Mentor developers and administrators on architectural patterns, coding techniques, and platform governance

Requirements

What you’ll need

7–9 years of experience delivering enterprise-scale technical solutions, including direct ServiceNow development
Strong architecture background across data, workflow, automation, integrations, and platform governance
Hands-on scripting experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Flows, Client Scripts, and REST/SOAP integrations
Bachelor’s degree
Strong communication and documentation skills
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and Certified Technical Architect preferred
Ability to gain experience supporting additional application components using modern development frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, Ruby, and .NET
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, API-based integrations, and DevOps toolchains such as GitHub
Familiarity with eDiscovery or legal technology platforms such as Relativity and Nuix
