About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support development of AI/ML algorithms across large language models, natural language processing, and time-series predictive analytics
Work within a multidisciplinary team of developers and researchers
Implement ETL pipelines supporting AI/ML and LLM solutions
Assemble large, complex datasets for AI/ML algorithm implementation
Build infrastructure for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources
Curate and maintain data supporting metrics and evaluation
Implement Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning algorithms
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
Redesign infrastructure for scalability, optimize data delivery, and automate manual processes
Use Agile methodologies to develop software

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or related field
7+ years of experience, preferably as Data Engineer/Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Software Development
Experience developing data pipelines and normalizing data with canonical Python packages such as NumPy, Pandas, and Polars
Experience contributing within a team setting using version control such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with Polygraph
Desired: M.S. or PhD in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or related field
Desired experience with GitLab, DevSecOps, test-driven development, containers, cloud services, and distributed computing tools
Desired experience leading interdisciplinary teams of researchers and software developers
Desired experience with large language models, transformer-based architectures, NLP algorithms such as BERT, reinforcement learning, clustering algorithms, deep neural networks, tracking and pattern-of-life algorithms, GenAI Ops, HuggingFace, LangChain, Linux, AWS, Java, C++, Rust, Go, C#, CUDA, application deployment, virtualization, containerization, and proposal writing
