About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams
Perform requirements management, including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, and compliance matrices
Develop test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell-off events
Decompose system requirements and collaborate with multidisciplinary, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions
Support the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities
Participate in program milestone events, including customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report review boards
Conduct software solution testing and generate test result documentation
Support software operations through enterprise test events and user integration and onboarding
Work closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations
Primarily support operations for a software system

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, IT, or related engineering field
At least 7 years of professional experience working in software development or systems engineering
Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environment
Ability to develop requirements
Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements
Ability to develop tracing between requirements, code, and verification
Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
Up to 10% travel required
Adjudicated Polygraph (desired)
Current IAT Level II or III certification, such as Security+, CISSP, or CASP (desired)
Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD (desired)
Experience with automated tests to sell off formal requirement verification (desired)
Experience with government Site Acceptance process and procedure (desired)
Experience with software-defined interfaces using XML or JSON (desired)
Experience with SATCOM or GEOINT systems (desired)
Experience with operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality (desired)
Experience with Cameo modeling tools (desired)
Experience developing software architecture using digital tools (desired)
Experience with DOORS or DOOR Next Gen (desired)
