About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements with stakeholders
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development teams
Create user stories, business rules, workflows, and acceptance criteria
Map and model AS IS and TO BE processes
Follow the full lifecycle of requests, from conception through production deployment
Conduct functional acceptance testing and support integration and user acceptance testing
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems
Ensure traceability between requirements, development, and validation
Serve as the link between business and technology teams at a large financial services company
Support the transformation of business requirements into technology solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or in similar roles
Experience working on software development and digital product projects
Knowledge of gathering and documenting functional requirements
Experience with process and business rule modeling
Knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
Knowledge of system integrations and REST API consumption
Ability to interpret technical documentation and support discussions with engineering teams
Knowledge of relational databases for queries and functional validation
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field
Previous software development experience (Java, .NET, Front-end, QA, DevOps, or related areas) is a plus
Knowledge of systems architecture, microservices, messaging, and integrations is a plus
Experience working in cloud environments is a plus
Experience in financial institutions, banks, fintechs, insurance companies, or payment services is preferred
Knowledge of financial products, onboarding, customer registration, compliance, KYC, fraud prevention, or digital journeys
Experience working on regulatory projects and integrations between critical systems
Familiarity with Bacen, CVM, Open Finance, PIX, or other financial ecosystems
