Structure and operate the company’s Market Intelligence function, organizing deliverables and routines in alignment with the priorities of the Strategic Planning department.
Plan and conduct market and business studies by formulating questions, hypotheses, and research approaches.
Research, consolidate, and analyze internal and external information, verifying source reliability, data consistency, and indicator comparability.
Monitor the market, competitors, trends, and customer behavior, identifying relevant signals and proposing areas for investigation.
Analyze the company’s performance in relation to the market context, investigating variations, opportunities, and risks.
Develop preliminary conclusions and recommendations to support strategic discussions, distinguishing facts, hypotheses, assumptions, and limitations.
Prepare management reports and executive presentations, communicating key findings and their relevance to business decisions.
Organize and maintain databases, sources, assumptions, and analytical history, ensuring information traceability and continuity of intelligence routines.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to understand requirements, obtain and validate information, and deepen the interpretation of results.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Accounting, International Relations, Information Systems, or a related field.
Postgraduate degree in Strategy, Market Intelligence, Finance, Analytics, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
Coursework in market intelligence, research, data analysis, finance, strategic planning, or Analytics will be considered an advantage.
Certifications in Power BI, SQL, data analysis, or related areas may be considered an advantage.
Experience in market intelligence, business intelligence, strategic planning, or related fields, with a track record of conducting studies that supported business decisions.
Knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, and trend analysis, including identifying, selecting, and cross-referencing information sources.
Ability to structure problems, formulate hypotheses, and evaluate evidence while recognizing inconsistencies and analytical limitations.
Knowledge of performance indicators and economic, financial, and statistical fundamentals applied to the analysis of growth, market share, and profitability.
Autonomy and initiative to propose investigations, organize priorities, and manage deliverables, with accountability for deadlines and quality.
Experience preparing management reports and executive presentations, with strong synthesis and clear communication of conclusions.
Proficiency in Excel or equivalent tools for organizing, cross-referencing, analyzing, and validating data.
Ability to collaborate and coordinate with different departments to gather information and understand the business context.
Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI and SQL, analytical automation, and the use of AI applied to research and information analysis is preferred.
Experience in financial services companies, insurance companies, consortium businesses, or regulated environments is an advantage.
