About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform accounting routines and prepare financial statements for insurance products
- Ensure the timely reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts with their supporting documentation and official records
- Conduct validations and analyses of transactions such as premiums/contributions, technical provisions, claims, benefits, and acquisition costs
- Ensure the accurate recording, validation, and analysis of financial investments, administrative expenses, other operating income and expenses, and other balance sheet items
- Ensure the accurate completion of FIP-SUSEP filings and quarterly questionnaires, keeping official records reconciled and available
- Prepare semiannual financial statements under Brazilian GAAP (BRGAAP) and IFRS, including notes to the financial statements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with an active CRC registration
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Previous experience in the accounting department of an insurance company
- Knowledge of SAP and ITG systems (Sun, FIT)
