About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor activities throughout the community and report unusual occurrences to the Property Manager
- Communicate expectations and community rules to residents
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and determine appropriate actions
- Lock entrance doors, security gates, laundry rooms, and pool gates at designated evening times when required
- Conduct scheduled nightly inspections of the community and common-area exterior doors
- Report unusual activity or visitors to police and the Property Manager
- Prepare Resident Incident reports for residents disrupting community peace and tranquility
- Avoid entering residents’ residences during non-emergency situations; have another employee accompany you when presence is warranted
- Inspect and correct walkway lighting nightly and report missing or broken lights
- Screen unwanted guests or intruders
- Perform nightly trash pick-up
- Assist with setting up common areas for resident events
- Monitor pool and clubhouse activity to ensure rules are followed
- Perform janitorial and cleaning duties for the clubhouse interior and exterior
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Education: High School or GED
- Minimum Experience: 1 Year
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents about rules, regulations, property expectations, and standards
- No authorization of firearms or weapons of any kind during shift
- Must not restrain individuals; physical restraint is against company policy and grounds for immediate termination
