About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the Meetings strategy by identifying high-leverage customer and business opportunities and translating them into product strategy and roadmap
- Simplify mature scheduling workflows and make sophisticated capabilities intuitive and easy to adopt
- Drive activation, engagement, retention, and monetization across individual and team customers
- Expand underused and emerging capabilities into new customer segments, workflows, and use cases
- Develop a point of view on how changing customer behaviors and AI will reshape scheduling and meeting management
- Align Engineering, Design, Data, Research, Marketing, Sales, and senior leadership around product decisions, priorities, and tradeoffs
- Define meaningful OKRs and KPIs, use customer insights and data to make decisions, and iterate based on results
- Raise the product bar through strong product judgment and customer empathy while preserving Calendly’s simplicity
- Help Calendly evolve scheduling before, during, and after every meeting
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8–10 years of product management experience
- Significant ownership of a scaled, mature product at a product-driven B2B or B2C SaaS company
- Experience at a well-scaled company (Series D+) is a plus
- Track record of setting product strategy and driving measurable outcomes
- Experience evolving a core product at scale and improving activation, adoption, engagement, retention, revenue, or customer satisfaction metrics
- Exceptional product sense and customer empathy
- Experience turning complex workflows into simple, intuitive customer experiences
- Strong experience with product-led growth, including self-serve acquisition, activation, virality, engagement, and expansion
- Experience building products for individual users and organizations, ideally in collaboration, productivity, scheduling, or work management
- Experience using AI in product development; experience shipping AI-powered features is a plus
- Strong analytical judgment using quantitative data, customer research, and product intuition
- Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, challenging assumptions, making tradeoffs, and moving quickly when decisions are reversible
- Technical depth to partner with Engineering on platform capabilities, integrations, APIs, and architecture
- Ability to work from the San Francisco office two (2) days per week
