About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Share responsibility for managing governance, risk, and compliance frameworks within Callsign
- Work with various departments to deliver a secure, risk-focused environment adhering to regulatory requirements
- Assess and refine security policies and standards
- Review and document security risks across product, platform, and third-party software and services
- Support audits of internal security policies, procedures, and control effectiveness
- Track audit findings and remediation actions through completion
- Implement risk management and information security management system frameworks
- Apply principles of security, resilience, and privacy by design
- Manage assessment and approval of remote working requests
- Facilitate Security Committee and Data Governance Group meetings
- Support ESG initiatives
- Coordinate Third Party Risk Management activities, including third-party risk assessments
- Support 3LoD activities
- Facilitate crisis management exercises
- Manage compliance requests from prospective and existing clients
- Develop understanding of data protection, AI, and best practices; assist with privacy impact assessments
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery transformation
- Work in a cloud-first and agile business environment
- Report to the VP Security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Basic understanding and awareness of frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
- A flexible approach to work with a strong work ethic willing to support those around you
- A BSC or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, Risk Management or a related field is optional/desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise and complete tasks
- High motivation and strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Must already hold the right to work in the UK
