About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle first- and second-level internal and external support tickets, on-site or remotely, for desktop, end-user computing, telephony, and connectivity services
  • Contribute to meeting quality indicators and SLA targets
  • Manage hardware and software assets and usage, including desktops, printers, and telephony equipment
  • Manage access profiles and communication groups on CCEE’s internal platforms
  • Resolve end-user computing incidents and problems ranging from low to high complexity
  • Create and maintain documentation for technical hardware and software installation and configuration procedures
  • Maintain cabling infrastructure
  • Define and certify end-user computing software and hardware
  • Support events and Energy Auctions by providing specialized technical support services
  • Certify and apply security updates and compliance practices
  • Keep the end-user computing environment up to date through automated software distribution
  • Develop configuration techniques to enhance the security of end-user computing resources
  • Support market participants in activating VPN communications
  • Analyze the root causes of hardware and software configuration, usage, and compatibility issues
  • Manage workstation patching through WSUS
  • Manage vulnerabilities using Tenable
  • Create automations in PowerShell and Python

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong communication, negotiation, creativity, teamwork, dynamism, and adaptability skills
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365
  • Experience administering GPOs for users and workstations
  • Knowledge of Power Automate is a plus
  • Knowledge of Power Virtual Agents is a plus
  • Experience developing scripts using Microsoft tools
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Knowledge of VDI
  • Microsoft certifications
