Provide highly complex analyses of market participants’ documentation, practices, and behavior
Develop studies to improve preventive measures and mitigate market risk
Design fraud simulations and innovative solutions focused on market security
Mitigate the recurrence of irregular or atypical conduct by market participants, providing guidance based on historical analyses and trading rules
Monitor trends in the electricity sector to anticipate changes and emerging risks
Contribute to the functional specification and development monitoring of technological market-monitoring solutions
Contribute to the team’s technical development by sharing guidelines, standards, and practices
Ensure the adjustment of sales contracts for market participants that fail to provide financial guarantees
Analyze data and develop and monitor market indicators

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
Advanced knowledge of the electricity market, its trading rules and sector dynamics, and/or relevant experience in the financial market
Ability to develop and lead complex technical studies, with a strategic perspective and focus on institutional results
Proficiency in data analysis techniques and methodologies applied to market monitoring
Graduate degree in areas such as Energy, Finance, Regulation, Statistics, Risk Management, or Data Science (a plus)
Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, and Power BI (a plus)
Experience developing technical solutions, preparing functional system specifications, and participating in technical forums with stakeholders from the electricity sector (a plus)
