About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Care Management capabilities
  • Lead and develop Product Owners and team members, creating accountability for outcomes, priorities, and delivery
  • Partner with clinical and technology leaders to translate care-management needs into prioritized capabilities, requirements, and executable work
  • Oversee operational, workflow, data, integration, vendor, and systems changes supporting Care Management capabilities
  • Advance connected clinical workflows and data capabilities to improve care coordination, visibility, and member and clinical-team experience
  • Use clinical, quality, member, operational, and financial measures to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and guide continuous improvement
  • Drive readiness for new capabilities, including testing, implementation, change readiness, issue resolution, and post-production stabilization
  • Manage strategic vendor relationships and align vendor capabilities, integrations, performance, and roadmaps with clinical and business needs
  • Provide direction to the team, engage employees toward common goals, and create a positive work experience
  • Supervise 3–5 FTEs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, clinical discipline, finance, or related field
  • 6 years of experience in product management, health plan operations, healthcare, insurance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of care management, case management, population health, clinical operations, or related health plan workflows
  • Ability to translate clinical and operational needs into product strategy, roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes
  • Experience leading cross-functional work across Clinical Operations, Technology, Analytics, Provider, Customer Service, and vendor partners
  • Strong understanding of member-centered workflows, clinical data, interoperability, care coordination, and health plan technology capabilities
  • Strong business acumen using clinical, operational, quality, member, and financial measures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate complex issues, dependencies, and trade-offs while driving decisions
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic relationships with external partners and vendors
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies highly desired
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement, 3 days per week in office
  • Must have wired internet connection for work-from-home option, not satellite or cellular, with minimum 5Mb upload and 10Mb download speeds
  • Must have access to a personal mobile device for MFA
  • Background check required
