Serve as a trusted finance business partner by providing financial guidance and support
Build budgets and forecasts
Conduct variance analysis and reporting
Prepare cost-benefit, return-on-investment and capital-resource analyses
Support analysis for new business opportunities, proposals, contracts and product development
Support cost-savings and process-improvement efforts
Provide financial governance and oversight
Develop financial models and analysis using advanced analytical techniques and complex financial systems
Provide business alternatives to issues
Plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and monitor work streams
Provide training or consulting expertise to departments, analysts and external stakeholders
Identify and articulate issues with multi-business-area or cross-functional impacts
Provide informal leadership as needed
Monitor and improve unit workflow and processes
Deliver presentations to groups or teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, or statistics
CPA, CMA, MBA or ASA preferred
Health insurance experience preferred
5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of applicable statutes, policies and procedures in a specific functional area
Ability to identify and articulate issues and alternatives
Demonstrated solid decision-making
Effective communication skills, including extracting and articulating key business issues
Knowledge of business principles, theories and concepts, and multiple business areas
Proven consultation, education and business influence experience
Experience with AI tools and technologies highly desired
Experience delivering effective presentations
Background check required
