Key responsibilities & impact

Manage enterprise-wide access provisioning operations for Cambia's Snowflake-based Data Platform using RBAC frameworks
Oversee access control systems, data catalogs, lineage tools, security controls, and governance technology platforms
Configure and optimize governance platforms and contribute hands-on technical expertise
Develop, implement, and enforce access provisioning policies, procedures, and standards
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies
Identify process improvements and automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce risk
Establish and track operational key performance indicators
Directly manage FTE and contractor team members, including performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development
Build relationships across IT, Security, Compliance, Privacy, and business units
Develop and execute strategic plans for access provisioning and governance technology
Balance operational demands with strategic initiatives and contribute hands-on to team deliverables
Partner with data governance leadership to advance access management maturity and integrate governance technologies across the enterprise
Provide team direction, engage employees toward common goals, and foster a positive team experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Data Management, or related technical field, and 5+ years in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and/or data governance technology management, 3+ years of people management experience leading technical teams, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Hands-on experience with role-based access control (RBAC) systems, particularly Snowflake RBAC, and enterprise access provisioning frameworks
Expertise in IAM principles, frameworks, and best practices, with experience managing access provisioning operations at scale
Experience with cloud data platforms, Snowflake security models and governance features, data governance platforms, and data catalog tools
Experience configuring, optimizing, and managing data governance technology platforms, including access control systems, Streamlit applications, Collibra, Snowflake Horizon Catalog, security controls, and automation tools
Ability to contribute hands-on to RBAC configuration, access provisioning workflows, and platform optimization
Experience leading, motivating, and developing technical teams, including FTE and contractor resources
Strong project and program management capabilities
Stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences
Ability to translate technical access control concepts for business stakeholders
Outcome-focused leadership and accountability, including managing dotted-line relationships
Strategic thinking, operational execution, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to balance security, compliance, operational efficiency, and business enablement
Change management and process improvement orientation
Experience with AI tools and technologies highly desired
Ability to work from a commutable distance to a listed office or willingness to relocate
Wired internet connection with minimum 5Mb upload and 10Mb download speeds if using work-from-home options
